Cat Care Initiative is a volunteer-based program. No one is paid for the hours of dedication they provide to the individuals or cats that are assisted by the program. Financing is provided by our own fundraising & contributions from people like you. We are always looking for conscientious, dedicated volunteers for fundraising, fostering, transporting, and computer skills. We are often in need of carpentry skills to make outside cat condos for feral colonies as well.
We’re looking for volunteers to work in our secondhand store at 50 Bridge St E in Campbellford. Shifts are Tues – Fri 11 – 3 and Sat 10 – 2. If we have more volunteers, we can extend our hours. At least two people work a shift at once, so you aren’t on your own, and we are happy to have you shadow experienced volunteers so you know what’s expected. We will require a police check and can give you a letter to submit when you request it done.
Please fill in and submit our Volunteer Application and Waiver if you’re interested in volunteering.
Kitten season is coming! Pregnant mother cats and new kittens start arriving every spring and fall. In order to save as many lives as possible, we need your help. Foster homes are essential to our operation. New kittens need a safe space to play and socialize so they can be adopted out to their future forever homes.
Please download CCI Foster Application and submit it either via email or in store. An individual contract is issues per kitten/cat with special instructions at the time of picking up your foster. We provide all food, litter, supplies, and medical support as needed.
Your help allows us to help them!
Applications can be scanned and emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org, dropped off at 50 Bridge St E in Campbellford during store hours, or mailed to Cat Care Initiative / PO Box 27 / Campbellford ON / K0L 1L0
